All my school and college certificates also read Prathyush Levakumar. I have heard that not having a surname can lead to a lot of complications in the US. What can i do about this? or is it fine if i leave it this way?
The definition of Indian Given Name is actually the full legal name - it has been so since 1850s when Indian soldiers joined British army. Leave it just the way it is. It would have been complicated if the line item was described as First Name, Last Name which is the US system of categorization. US entities don’t care much for data in your passport.
All the best
