No I-94 Issued at CBP

Hi,

After I arrived,the officer at SFO CBP stamped my passport mentioning a future date (which is 10 days after my VISA expiry).The customs form that I filled was never given back to me after my luggage were scanned. I didn’t come across any other form that I needed to fill.

So, I don’t have an I-94. Is this usual?

Paper I-94s are no longer issued. You can go to CBP site and generate an electronic I-94 for yourself using your passport number.
