No any kinds of replies are received after H1B application for a whole year

Hi,
Does anyone think it is possible to receive nothing after your company and lawyer submit your H1b application for a whole year? And the company and lawyer kept telling me that they did not receive any kind of replies.

Current company has helped me with H1b petition again. So I am recalling the situation I had on 2018, which is ridiculous to me. I seriously suspect that my last company was playing games with me.

Does anyone have the same experience? Just want to make sure that I have been fooled. After confirmation, I will give the name of the company and lawyer office.

No, something is wrong. They should get something after submitting application within a month or so. If applied using cap, maybe couple of months or so…at least there must be a reject notice…It could be your employer was just telling you something to keep you engaged and they never applied. They must have got something…ask them for the same. If they insisit nothing, something is wrong. You cannot spend 7K USD and sit waiting for nothing right ? Think about it

Yes, I agree with you. Just hope I can get it this time.

Rick, if your case was picked up in Lottery, you should receive a case number, if not you should receive a letter with your papers and check back.

If your case was accepted and you have a case number, you can check for the status in https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

I understand there are many people in your situation. I didn’t see any movement in my case until January 15th when my lawyer received RFE.

In the other hand, premium processing is now available for FY 2019 (applications filed on 2018). You can offer to pay the fee to get a decision within 15 calendar days. The fee is $1,410.

Thanks for you advice. I have chosen the premium processing.

Rickgrey, I have found this page where some volunteers gather all the data from USCIS site and created some interesting statistics tables and graphs. http://worktheme.com/

You can visit, and you will see how many people are still waiting for USCIS decision.
