New petition is in 221g and current visa valid till sept, 2017. Shall I go USA now?

Hi,
I have changed my employer in march 2017 and the petition with new employer is approved from march,2017 to Feb 2020. the old employer visa is valid till sept, 2017.

one month back I came to India and attended visa interview for stamping. But Visa officer gave me 221g for “Administrative processing” and till now no status.

My client project is is critical stage and client needs me to work on project asap.( Policies not allowing me to Work From Home)

  1. Shall I go back USA with current visa (old employer visa valid till sept, 2017)? will POA officer allow me?

2.If I enter into USA and after some time my 221g is resolve, I need to travel India for stamping. How soon I need to send my passport to consulate for stamping?

  1. Instead, shall I wait in India for 2 more weeks and take decision based on my 221g status?

Hi Hunny,
Yes . I successfully entered into USA. I have valid visa til sept,2017 along with approved new i-797A (it shoud have attached i-94 form at bottom of the page). then only your eligible to enter.
I booked through Eitihad airways and USA immigration doen at Abudhabi without any issues.
I reached USA 2 days ago. All the best. I am glad to help you if need more detials.

Hi,did u withdraw u r visa application before travelling with u r old visa?

Did u get restamped? what was the outcome of u r 221g?
