My wife is travelling from the US to get her H1B visa stamped and she is landing in Delhi and travelling to Chennai for her appointment on the 25th and 27th January for an emergency appointment. She is landing in India on the 23rd January. Will the consulate have a problem given Tamil Nadu’s quarantine rules (for no international travel within 7 days)?
If that is the case, can we change the consulate by cancelling the appointment (using the same visa fees) ?
If the above is also not the case, can she book another appointment at another consulate (with a new visa fees - thus paying 2 visa fees) ?
