Hi! I am a medical graduate from india. I got married in 2015 in india and my husband started his MS in NY while I stayed back working in india. Now, he has completed and is working on OPT. Meanwhile, i am preparing for usmle step 1. He wants me to move to usa now that he has a job there. I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions on the following:
- Should i apply as F2?
- Should i delay my Step 1 exam as that might hamper getting F2 visa? (because that would indicate that i intend to do my residency in usa in future but entry is on a dependent visa)
