I hold UK masters degree and worked (IT Job role) in UK on post study work visa, right now i’m in india as that visa category is closed and i’m in a situation that i’m unable to decide to work in india or to apply USA visa, if so F1 or H1B,
I’m really in need of a valuable suggestion. UK Life style and Indian life style…and the comaprision happening all the time…
please suggest me…which one is best option
F1 VISA again for doing to MS (as it is a bit easy comapre to H1 but again requires 2 years of time to study and involves more money towards fee)
H1B (as it is hard to find a sponsor to file it from india)
if u can come on H1B that would be a great thing to accomplish as F1 is a headache. People here waste their time and money and sometimes left with less choices at the end. These days USCIS is very strict as compared to a couple of years earlier… Its all your choice. Why dont you try to go to canada as there system is better than USA and after graduation you get three years of work permit and parallel to that PR can be applied …
u will come here on F1, then study here for 2 to 3 years and then find a job and then try to get H1B if not selected in the lottery you are stuck. If u get your H1B then there are very strict rules and if u do not follow the rules or even make a single mistake you get out of status and problems again. Also green card process is lengthy for Indian citizens.
Still you can overcome all these hurdles and be a success in US but there is a heavy dosage of Risk involved. Your Callllll…
Thank you very much zoofi… you got my point as i’m looking for settlement,to be honest i dont want to waste TIME and Money, at the same time unable to decide…F1 and H1 as both having its own pros and cons…I’m not sure about canada system, if you have any ref plz share me.Thanks
I am myself stuck in the USA since last 9 years. My H1B is in an appeal status and I am stuck here as after so many years of struggle it is difficult to go back to my country. I have also made some bad mistakes so that is also the factor. I am not sure about Candian system but you can always google it. I have heard that it is relatively easier to settle down in Canada. Just google and start working on It…
