My firstname in my passport is :xxx yyy lastname is :zzz but in my degree certificate it is printed as xxx zzz instead of xxx yyy zzzz (yyy is missing). I am going to India this month for h1b stamping. Will this effect my stamping? what supporting documents do i need to carry in this regard?
Since you have issues with your middle name alone it should not create any problem. First name and last name is important. Middle name is optional in most of the places

Thank you for the response vivek. yyy is not my middle name it is part of my first name too. That is the reason why i am worried. Is it still ok if don’t have this on my degree?
No issues… That should not create problem. Hope you have the same name in petition and passport same.
