I got selected in H1B lottery in year 2014 and I quit my company after that some where on September 2014. Can I apply for new H1B, and Will my old selection have any impact on my new application.
If the old petition was approved and you have the approval copy or at least know the receipt number, then you are eligible for cap-exempt petition. Such a petition can be filed anytime and doesn’t need to go through lottery.
If it was never approved, then go through the lottery and old petition has no impact on the new one.
