My H1b petition was filed on the 6th of June (As informed by my Employer), what are my chances of getting through and actually getting the VISA? I was also told that I would recieve the reciept number in about a months time. Is there anything I need to do next?
If it is filed on 6th your application met the cap.
but actual approval will de deciced based on your status (experiance, relevant skills, employer LCA etc.)
further once you get petition approved visa stamping decision will be done during interview if conceller is satisfied with your answer you will get visa stamped.
