My company is processing my H1B , they will be giving me around 80K. I will be travelling with my wife and I get 1.3M here (india) , should I move to US ? Can I save enough ?
Which city would you be working in US ? Cost of living varies a lot between different cities.
Actually I don’t know the city but it is for State California .
I doubt you’ll have substantial savings in California working on 80K package. But yes, you can always switch to different employer on H1 and get good package depending upon your technology skillset.
US always has better income. 80k is pretty good, and you may get around $5000 a month. You also have a chance to change employer anytime if you get a good pay.
Moreover your H1 is just being filed, you will only be lucky if you get thru lottery
