My Case status can not be found

My H1B was filed by my employer on 05-Jun-2012. I got my receipt number after 15 working days. When I try to check my status @ “” it says that “Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283”.

So I called up the above given number and the automated voice repeats the same message to me upon entering my receipt number. 

Am I the only one facing such an issue or is it a common error with many H1B aspirants there?

Two things:

First try and get hold of physical receipt copy rather than just the receipt number. The physical receipt also has info about which center the application was sent. Try calling the number on your receipt. It may probably be the same number above but it doesnt hurt to try.

Secondly, If you have physical receipt copy just cool down and try again after 1-2 days you should be fine.
