MS in MIS after 9 years work exp

Hi,

I wanted to do MS after my engineering but could not do because of financial condition.Now after 9 years working in Software i wish to pursue MS in MIS in US,i have few questions

  1. Is it worth doing MS in MIS after 9 years work exp.?

  2. What will be the job prospects after MS in MIS considering 9 years work exp?

  3. MS courses for MIS are 1 year or 2 year courses?

    It totaly depends on your perspective, worth in the sense of what ? Worth for money or Worth for satisfaction ? Somethings in life are not measured by just money, if you want to pursue it for your passion, just go for it…

    It depends on the school. Usually they are two years…You can take more classes and get it done in an Year as well.

    Why MS in MIS ? Why NOT MBA ? Is your education going to add value to your career path ? Are you doing it for your passion and education experience ?

    You need to have answeres to these questions.
