Masters - get f1 visa while remaining in US?

USA F1, F2 Visas - CPT - OPT

I reside in US on OPT, can I get a new F1 visa or just stay here with an I-20 without having to go back home to the US embassy? would that cause trouble for post masters opt ?

I appreciate any relevant information you might have in mind.

Hi,

   You can take OPT only 1 time. It will not be applicable for second masters.



    See, if you can apply for OPT extension (if you are from STEM) for next 17 months.



    Another option is that you can regsiter for new school( transfer SEVIS).
