Hello Guys,
I travelled to india on 24 th Feb 2018. While coming to india, I had brought my original I797 A petition with me, but unfortunately I am not able to find it out. I have H1B stamping due(my visa expired in 2017, extension till 2020). I have submitted my passport for stamping to the consulate which I expect to receive in 3 to 4 days. At consulate, a copy of first page of I797A served the purpose.( Form 221g FP only)
My question is, do I need to have the original petition with me at POE? I have a soft copy of the original petition. Is the printout of it would be sufficient? I am going to check with immigration team of my organization. Any experiences would greatly help. Thanks.
