My H1B petition was recently approved and all that is pending is the stamping/interview process. Looking at the documents required, it says that “Along with passport, all old passports held should also be taken along”. My old passport expired in 2010 and currently own a new one. I have recently lost the expired passports . Is this going to be a problem during the stamping process? Do you think it’s wise to report this as lost to police and get an acknowledgement from them?
