You applied in regular or premium processing category? The date of the lottery was April 9th, your lawyer will get the receipt number if you are selected or will get the application back if you are not selected.
To add what @shibs mentioned; in case you are selected in the lottery your lawyer will receive the receipt no by April end (this is not an actual deadline but as per the past trend)
