On H-1B in AZ Maricopa county and want to move to Irvine, CA as my husband works in Irvine, CA. Requested immigration team to file for LCA location change. However, immigration team informed that they can file for Riverside or San-Bernardino (CA) basis the prevailing wage match and not Irvine as it falls in a different county. I am looking for suggestions as to is there a way or location closer that helps and lets us live closer to Irvine, CA and yet be mapped correctly w.r.t LCA Location Change.
As far as you are in same MSA as your work location address in the LCA, you are good.
