L2 EAD expiries July 2020, PED until Oct 2020, shall I file extension and also let spouse's organization file extension in May 2002?

Hi,

I’m currently on L2 with EAD valid until July 23 2020, my visa/i94(PED) is until Oct 31 2020 same as my spouses’.
So if I file EAD extension now(March end) and spouses’ organization files in Mid-May- will it be conflicting in USCIS as two applications… I want least possible gap and don’t wish to change my employer.
