I and my Husband came to US in March 2012, He came on L1 and i came on L2 visa, I filed my EAD and i have received my EAD Card too. Now my husbands company has filed H1 visa for him and H4 visa for me as his dependent. Will this affect my EAD . The Validity on the EAD card is written till 05/14/14. Please advice ! thanks !!
If the petitions are applied w/ COS, then your status will automatically change from L2 to H4 on 1st October and you cannot work then onwards.
If applied w/o COS, then your status will have to be changed from L2 to H4 when your husband's status is changed from L1 to H1B.
