L1 to H1 Transfer but not to the company who filed my H1 petetion

I am on L1 in US with Company A

I have H1B Petition with Company B

Suddenly I got a full time from Company C

Can I join do L1 to H1 transfer to Company C without joining into Company B?

Do i need to communicate to company B on anything? Please answer ASAP since i need to decission in few days. Highly appreciate your quick help on this
