Is there any cooling off time between B1 visa travel and H1 B stamping

Hi,

My H1 B was approved in Nov 13 when I was in US on B1 for trainings. I returned to India on Dec last week, now Visa support team with my employer is suggesting me wait for 3 months before going for H1B stamping though there is requirement to travel immediately for same client. Is there any chance of Rejection if I go for stamping immediately after one month of my return to India?

Threre may be chances of asking the reason for travelling on B1 and may be rejected if B1 is mis-utilized

Thanks for the answer, My travel was for training and it was for 6 weeks. Is there a chance that visa offices still ask same question if I go for stamping after 3 months?

ya… they can ask as u got B1 stamp on ur passport… Ur Answer must not be violating B1 usage… So accordingly answer as if u went for a KT or Training
