Hello everyone. I need an advise. I am worried because I am on my 6th month now as J1 visa holder. On July 2013, my visa will expire. Is there also a possibility that I can change status from J1 into H1b visa without going back to my home country Philippines? I am currently looking for hotels who are sponsoring or petitioning H1b visas. I would be grateful for those who will give me replies and advices. Thank You 
Lot of J-1s come along w/ 2 year home residency clause. Do you have a waiver or do you have to return to home country?
