Is salary slip mandatory for stamping

Dear Saurabh,

I am working from India for a US based company on a contract employment. I havent been given any payslips for the past 6 months as am a contractor. How to address the question if am asked for the payslip at stamping?

Can I show them my offer letter of contract or my bank statement for the salary credit?

As you are working outside US, there is very less chance of them asking for payslips. Payslips are required when you are working inside US as proof of maintaining valid legal status.
