I had a H1B visa stamped in September 2005 valid till September 2007. However, I never travelled to US on this visa to work.
Sometime in May 2007, I had visited the US consulate for B1visa and they cancelled the H1B visa.
I am interested in working in US sometime from October 2012. Since, the H1B cap for new visa petition is over for general as well as master’s category, I would like to know if my old visa can be used to exempt myself from 2013 H1B cap?
I would appreciate if someone can help on this matter.
