Currently I am in India. I applied for H1B in 2015 cycle and picked up in lottery. USCIS issues RFE on 07/15/2014. I pushed my employer to submit the supporting documents as soon as possible but it got unnecessary delayed for unknown reasons. Finally they submiited responses on 09/16/2014.
I have following questions
Since its already September mid, I am not hoping to get result before Oct 1st. Is it possible to get the result after Oct 1st or does USCIS clear all cases before that ?
In case it gets approved, I believe my employer would send me hard copy of approved petition and I’ll need to go to Consulate for stamping. Is this correct?
I have US born kid. Do I need to carry him with us in stamping ? I guess not but still confirming.
I am currently working with one of the Indian MNCs where I have 1 month notice period. If I get my H1B stamped, is that possible to serve that notice period or do I need to fly to US in certain X days ?

>> Person accompaining you/traveling to USA as dependent are required to have stamping others not required. You are right.

>> depends on your employer policy. But I hope your H1B company is different than your current company. Otherwise you should travel with your current job.
You mentioned “Person accompaining you/traveling to USA as dependent are required to have stamping others not required.”
Since my son is US born and hold US passport he doesn’t need any visa. Just checking does he need to be there while our stamping since he is part of family or really doesn’t matter.
