I am on H1 visa right now. I want to know Green card on L1 visa is faster than H1 visa? Also what is the time difference between the two of the processing (H1 as well as L1)?
The employment category (EB1 or EB2 or EB3) determines the speed and not your visa status (H-1 or L-1).
In some cases L-1 visa holders don’t need to file PERM and that saves 12 months, but EB-2 for a person on H-1 is same as EB-2 for a person on L-1 for rest of the processing.
