Hi, I’m working as postdoc and will be going to India in few weeks to get COS from F1 to H1B. I see lots of sits mentioning client letter as one of the required documents. Is that still applicable for postdocs? If so does anyone has a client letter template for someone working in STEM as postdoc. Thanks.
If you are going to directly work for the employer and not for 3rd party client, you don’t need a client letter. Rather it will just be employment verification letter stating your job role/position, duties, job location and annual salary.
