Is 221g takes more then 1 year?

Hi,

My interview date for H1 is 11, September 2017 Mumbai consulate. I got 221g and still it is in pending stat.

when I check my case status it shows " On May *, 2018, the Department of State sent us your case, Receipt Number *******, for review. We are reviewing it, and will notify you by mail when we are done. Please follow any instructions in the notice."

Please count adjudication time of 6 months and 3 days from May 2018 and not from day of interview. The consulate unfortunately delayed your case dispatch to the Dept of State. You should get a result by November 2018.
