Interpretation of posted USCIS processing time

USCIS just updated the processing times for the California Service Center.

It says:

"Posted: August 17, 2012

[...]
However, if that office is taking longer than our processing goal to handle the form type in question, you will see the filing date (e.g., "April 10, 2003") of the last case we processed on the date the website chart was last updated. The charts are updated on or about the 15th day of each month.

I am confused about "date the website chart was last updated". Does this mean, CSC processed "April 13" applications on June 30, or August 17? This would make a big difference.

Here is the corresponding link: [https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do](https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do)

From the above statement it means that a particular center has processed the application as on that date

CSC 13th April 2012

VSC- 16th April 2012

They should soon be updating the status I believe. Good Luck.

What i understood from the writeup is, H1B petitions are being processed at a delayed rate than as was commited (2months) by USCIS>

Presently as per the last 17th AUg update, currently they have processed all files received till 13th April 2012.

Let me know, if you think it is otherwise.

USCIS updates this every 15days, next update will be on 30th August.
Seems like they are 4 months behind. Ughh!!!

What you said is correct Dankest

It updated as

"Field Office Processing Dates for California Service Center as of: June 30, 2012"
"H-1B - Specialty occupation - Visa to be issued abroad - April 13, 2012"

Does this mean as of June 30 California center processed petitions till April 13 ?

USCIS latest update says in Vermont they have completed all the petitions dated till April 17th… But some petitions which are filled on April 9th is still in Inital Review…

Where did you get this information from ? The website dosnt sat this!!

Do you mean the information about the “petitions completed till april 17th”. You can find this in USCIS - Check processing times section by chossing Vermont as your processing center ( May be i think april 17th is worng it could be mistake)
