Here is my case.
My 194 is expired on feb 2019 my extension was filed,got RFE and employer filed for revoke. Revoke done on July 10,2019.I got a new employer and a receipt notice on July 9,2019.
Am i in status and can i work with receipt notice
Well, technically you did not had status since your I-94 expiry date, you were in something called as “period of authorized stay”. I am not sure, how your New H1B transfer would work, because you may be questioned for how you maintained your status since the expiry of I-94. I would suggest you speak to your attorney, tell them all the situation and then take an informed decision to fix the situation. Read USCIS.gov website as highlighted in below screenshot
