I797C from prev employer can use it?

Hi,

I have approved(0n 2012) H1B petetion from my previous employer. can I use it now?

I have I797C softcopy and while trying to see the status it is showing revoked after i left the previous employer.

please advise.

Another employer can still file a cap-exempt petition for you using the old approved petition. Old employer may have withdrawn it after you left them, but you are still cap-exempt.
