I graduated last year and moved back to India. I couldnt stay back and work as initially planned, due to personal reasons. I didnt even apply for my OPT. I have chances of applying for a job in the company where I did my internship. What are my VISA options now? If the company doesnt sponsor, can I sponsor myself and do the paperwork here in India? Please suggest all the options I have. I believe my F1 visa will not be valid now, since I am graduated. Thank you.
Only the company can apply for a work visa, not you. The cap opens next in April 2015 for a start date of Oct 2015. Your employer needs to apply for a visa then. You will be eligible to apply in advanced degree quota.
