I have a valid F1 visa waiting to arrive in the USA 30 days prior my orientation in August , my school said my admission was withdrawn due to certain circumstances on 1st April 2014 , while my F1 Visa was issued on 6th May 2014 , waiting to travel to the USA on 25th July . My school said there’s nothing they can do when my admission has already been withdrawn . 1 . Does this situation affect my F1 visa to be cancelled or my SEVIS number be blocked since the school has access to my SEVIS number . 2 . Will I be allowed to enter the US in other to transfer to another school by changing my SEVIS payment into a different school’s I-20 SEVIS number ? 3. I’m worried the decision of withdrawing my admission from my school whom I got F1 Visa to attend could cause my visa to be cancelled . Please help by answering the 3 questions I asked , I’m feeling restless now
You will need to discuss this with the DSO of the new school. Transfer cases are known to occur as long as the first cancellation was not based on anything that will cause the second school to hesitate. School B and School A will share information at registrar level.
All the best
