I got my H1b stamped for 2016 through a US consultant . I am currently working in xxx company in India.

Can i travel to US on H1b without resigning my job in india ?

There are many people who do this because they are not sure if they will be happy in the US. Just make sure you do not negatively impact the India employer too much, let them know early if you plan to stay or return.
