how to update DS 160 after booking an appointment

Hi All,

I have scheduled an appointment in the October for the H1b stamping. But now I released that I have submitted the DS 160 with the annual salary instead of the monthly US salary. My petitioner has already paid the fee and booked an appointment. I wanted to know if there is any way to update the DS 160.

There is no provision to update the submitted DS-160. You can create new ds-160 and take it with you to OFC center (finger prints location) and tell them that you have an updated ds-160. They will take care of it.

You can do what rajkalam2000 suggested, or just appear for biometrics and ask the person to make the correction in the original DS-160 form.
