I screwed up this year and didn’t give myself and my employer enough time to prepare for the H-1B visa petition. If I leave the US, what are my chances to get an employer to sponsor me for next year’s? I am a Software Engineer with 2.5 years experience. Which employers would interview/sponsor people from other countries with only 2.5 years experience?
Why don’t you stick with same employer and try next year. This year quota is anyway over.
