USCIS recently announced a new rule that if work-location is changed, it needs to be notified by the employer in form of an “amended petition”. Merely changing LCA won’t work. Hence, the application that was filed initially needs to be amended and those sections where changes have been applied needs to be highlighted and supported with adequate documentation. Hence, the question of processing time under regular scheme assumes importance.
