How much dollars H4 can take while travelling alone?

I have H4 and I gonna travel by March 2015. I wanna know how much amount(dollars) can take while travelling alone?Regards

There is no specific $$ amount for a H4 visa. You have to follow the rules for any non-immigrant visa holder travel. I guess you can take up to $10K but you must declare it in your customs form while you are arriving into US.

Better to dump all the money in a travel card and carry it. So that you can carry whatever you want
