Please let me know the procedure to keep my H1B visa. I got approved last year.
But got laid off 2 weeks ago. How should I proceed now? Desperately looking for new H1b sponsors. Have 2 yrs of work experience as Business Analyst.
You need to search for another employer ASAP and ask them to file for transfer. Else, move to another eligible status like B-1/F-1/H-4 etc.
There is no grace period on H-1, and if you are not getting paid you are accumulating out-of-status.
