How intended Length of Stay column in DS-160 affects H1B visa duration?

My LCA is valid for 3years.In DS-160; I filled Intended Length of Stay in U.S.  as 1year.



Does it mean that I will get only 1 year valid H1B visa, or 3 year valid [b]H1B[/b] [b] visa[/b]

H1 B visa is granted as per approved I 797 petion which has petition expiry date.

Visa expiry date is same as petition valid till - date.

If you have said 1 ye and petition expires after that, VO should normally grant visa as per petition

Did if affect your VISA interview, you got it for 3 years or just 1 year?
