Help Needed on RFE on H1b(Role Requires supervision)

Hello all,

I have a master degree in Information Assurance(it is related to Security field) working on a Full time job. I have a bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering.

I received an RFE for a Software Development Engineer 1 position, saying that the min job requirement is for a person with a Bachelors degree, why do you need a master degree holder for this role? Addition to that they said this role requires supervision.

Have you folks encountered this case? Please help

It is a very common RFE that is given to many H1B positions. You need to work with your attorney and company to justify why you fit the role and why it requires what they are asking…Usually, the SOC codes are the ones that really matter. Talk to your employer and attorney on this…
