Has L1B applying H1B in 2013,can i visit india after applying H1B on L1B?

Hi,

I Have Valid L1-B from company ABC, and applying H1B from Different company this april.

So my Question is can i visit india onmy L1 after applying H1B and before October…

Will it affect my H1B filling in any case?

If you leave US while H-1 is pending, then your COS will be abandoned. Your H-1 will still be processed and can get approved. This means, your status will remain L-1 even after you return to US and your H-1 gets approved. To move to H-1, you will have to file a separate COS or enter US on stamped H-1 visa.
