I recently came accross Amercian Red Cross Website of NJ where they require Volunteers in my county and found out that they have forever volunteer opportunity avaibalbe in Administration Department [http://www.redcross.org/support/volunteer/opportunities#step3](http://www.redcross.org/support/volunteer/opportunities#step3)
I am on h4 and know that i cannot work but can i join this company as a volunteer as its an NGO as the Responsibilities may include answering phones, completing mailings, data entry and assembling course materials and engaging in special short and long-term projects. as i went on to fill in the application it never mentioned about SSN or background check no resume was asked.
