H4 Visa Holder commute between Detroit (US,MI) and Windsor (Canada,ON)

Hello,

I am currently working in Chicago and living in Detroit USA on H1B Visa. I hold my visa till August 2019 and my employer has already filed my extension in premium. My wife is currently holding H4 visa and staying in US along with me.

She recently applied for St. Clair University which is located in Windsor (Canada, ON) and got the admission and study permit in Canada.

Can she drive from Detroit to Windsor which is just 5.2 miles away from our house to college daily. Is there an easy way that she could skip long queues and get into US everyday smoothly and how flexible is it ? Is there any kind of pass that she could get rather than stamping her passport daily ??

I have not personally used these programs. Please check https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/. SENTRI would be something you can consider. I suggest you check with the CBP office and get the best one.
