Got H1B petition approved in 2013 Dec by a Company in India but didnt undergo Visa Stamping lack of positions in project…I resigned came US with H4 in April , 2014 and now H1B petition has been revoked from the company as I resigned. Can I use the existing petition number for my H4 to H1B status conversion (cap - exempt quota) or should i wait for next year to initiate new H1B? I dont have original approved petition documents but do have mail confirmation documents with me which includes the receipt number, company and project in it? Please help me answering this question.
