H4 to H1b visa and H4 extension

Hi

Currently I am having h4 visa. I want to apply for h1b visa in April 2015.

My husband’s h1 and my h4 will expire in 30 sept 2015.

my question is

  1. Can we apply for my h4 extension while my h1 is in progress?

  2. What will be my final status ?

  3. Do I need to go with premium processing for filing my h1?
