Hi,

I am on H4 visa and I also have a H1B approved petition number applied in India from my employer. I have scanned copy it of 797c notice of action. I want to search new job in US . Is above 797c scanned copy and my petition number enough for cos of visa from H4 to H1?

Please guide me.

I have been told I can do cos from H4 to H1 only if I have 797a approval notice … is it true?
