My company filed with H1 extension around 1 month back. I didn’t received receipt notice yet but able to get receipt number by calling USCIS.
Can I file H4 extension for my wife with H1 receipt number alone without receipt. My wife H4 visa going to expire next week so I cant wait for USCIS to send receipt notice . What other documents, I can use in place of H1 receipt notice.
You do need to attached the copy of receipt.
Ideally you should have filed H4 extension with the H1B extension.
Personally I feel you should engage the immigration lawyer of your employer and pay them to file H4 extension.
