I am on H4 and its expiring by September. I got extension but I need to get stamping before visa expiries . With the current Covid situation and suspended visa interview slots I cant get a stamping done so How can I continue my stay in US ?
I dont quite understand this statement. So you are in the US and you got H4 extension approved. Is it approved with I94 or is it approved for consular processing meaning you need to get stamping done?
If you got I94 in the I797 approval notice for the H4 extension, you are good with your status and can stay in the US. In this case you dont need to get visa stamped unless you are traveling outside the US and need a valid visa to reenter the US.
